Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 10, 2026
1. Introduction
ShipClaw ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ShipClaw platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By accessing or using ShipClaw, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Account information: Name, email address, and authentication data when you sign up (including via Google OAuth).
- Usage data: Interactions with the platform, feature usage, API calls, credit consumption, timestamps, and session metadata.
- Agent data: Prompts, configurations, API keys (if you choose Bring Your Own Key), and agent outputs you create through the platform.
- Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral URLs.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the platform.
- To process transactions and manage your account.
- To monitor usage for billing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support.
- To improve the platform and develop new features.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers: Third-party vendors that help us operate (e.g., Stripe for payments, cloud hosting providers, analytics tools). These providers only access data necessary to perform their services.
- AI model providers: When you use managed API keys, your prompts and agent inputs are sent to third-party AI providers (e.g., Anthropic) to generate responses. We are not responsible for how those providers handle data under their own policies.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Protection of rights: To enforce our terms, protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users.
5. Your API Keys and Agent Data
If you provide your own API keys ("Bring Your Own Key"), those keys are stored encrypted and used solely to make requests on your behalf. Agent configurations, prompts, and outputs are stored to provide the service. We make no claim of ownership over your agent data, but we are not liable for any content generated by AI models through the platform.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may retain certain data after account deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution). Usage logs and analytics data may be retained in anonymized form indefinitely.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-Party Services
The platform integrates with third-party services (AI providers, payment processors, authentication providers). These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
9. Children's Privacy
ShipClaw is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of ShipClaw after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We are not obligated to notify you of changes.
